When I was at the TV21 convention in Bristol, I bought Shane Rimmer’s autobiography ( which he signed as well!)

This is a quote from the book, ( From Thunderbirds to Pterodactyls) which I think shows just how well-regarded Bishop was by his friends.

‘Ed and I worked together many times, in films, on stage, in TV and radio, which was his forte. But what I remember most about Ed was his self-appointed position as a kind of ‘listening post’ for the entire North Amnerican acting community in London. If a role came up that he judged was right from a particular actor, he’d be on the phone to get them to hustle over there and try out. He got more actors more jobs than anyone else, sometimes even opting out of possible selection himself.’

I am currently trying to get a really comprehensive list of Bishop’s credits! It’s not an easy task, especially as he did so many audio books. So any help would be appreciated!

God thinks he's Straker. Actually, no. God just wishes he was Straker
