Challenge posted by Lightcudder:

Okay, I know its a long time off, I know that there is the November Challenge to do and a Christmas one, but PLEASE... can I set the January one?

I have SUCH a good idea and I would really really like to share it with you and let everyone have a go!!

There again, you might think it is utter rubbish! :))

Here it is;

Opening line; (Take your pick of character! _ guess who I chose?)

Ed Straker woke up that morning and found that he was a woman.
(Copyright. LtCdr!)

You may change that sentence, but the general idea is that your character is now the opposite sex.

Have fun! Names may be changed, it can be NFanfic or not.. It must not be posted before Jan 1st!

All complaints/objections/questions to errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...... me?

;)

.........he was a woman, in his mind. the link to this unknown vixen was like a blizzard, too overwhelming to ignore.
she was like one of those 40's detective film stars, so pretty and sensually dressed. he was seeing thru her eyes, and his two, a double perspective at the same time.
and, he knew of her heartbreak. felt it with her. from what he could tell, she was looking out a window in france, near paris. thier eyes shared tears, from her loss.
Ed straker, for the first time since S.H.A.D.O. came into existance, put everything into Alec's hands, and left to find her on a leave of abscence.
what happened to her, this sorrow, these heart sent tears, shouldn't have happened to his worst enemy.
they UFOs were involved, but in a way that broke his heart too, along with hers, he was feeling her pain, and hopefully the reverse wasn't happening with her, feeling his hatred and rage at the invaders from space.
He paused at Ms. Ealeand's desk on his way out.
'Have you ever seen a ghost Ms. Ealeand?' Straker asked.
' I did with my grandmother when i was a child, but i can't remember it much, i was very young and she could have been just playing with me, why?' She answered.

"Nothing, it's just... well, the past sneaks up on us so fast sometimes, yesterday seems closer than it ever really could be.' Ed paused. ' i was just wondering what it would be like,- to see a ghost.'
Straker smiled at her and picked up his suitcase and left.
Ms. Ealeand smiled back politely, absentmindedly, and returned to her work, wondering what that was all about and how she was going to fend off Alec's constant passes at her now that he was taking over for a while. the jar of kimshee was still in her drawer, a few nibbles as he came up would keep his attentions short.
